Founded in 2013 by Mike Bui, the company has grown from a small team of 6 REALTORS® to a team of 30 REALTORS®, an in-house marketing and graphics team, and a dedicated video and web team.
The company was awarded the position of #1665 on Inc. 5000’s prestigious list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America in 2018, and #3212 in 2019. They also climbed the ranks of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Top Real Estate Firms list, from #12 in 2016, to #9 in 2017, #9 in 2018, and #9 in 2019.
The team at EQ1 are committed to growth and development as well as community service. Launching their brand new social justice foundation in 2020, EQ1 Gives, they are partnering with a number of charities within the local community who are helping people and families in need.

2013
The beginning stages of EQ1 | Official launch in November 2013 with 6 founding REALTORS®, 1 admin staff and Mike Bui at the healm.
2014
The team celebrates 1 year in business and adds several more REALTORS® to the team.
2015
Highlights of the year include becoming the exclusive partner in San Jose for Leverage Global Partners.
2016
EQ1 launches second office, EQ1 Evergreen Estates, to serve Evergreen, Silver Creek Valley Country Club, and The Villages.
2017
EQ1 ranks #12 on Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Top Residential Real Estate Firms.
