Dennis began his real estate career in 1979, overseeing the construction of one of the first commercial buildings in San Jose's Foreign Trade Zone—an achievement that helped shape the city’s early economic development. The following year, he was honored with the prestigious "Key to the City" of San Jose and recognized as "Businessman of the Year" by the Business Advisory Council.
In 1983, Dennis transitioned into residential and commercial lending, where he spent the next decade building expertise in financing and investment strategies. By 1993, he founded his own residential real estate brokerage, later expanding with a specialized division focused on working with banks in the recovery and sale of foreclosed properties.
In 2013, Dennis partnered with Mike Bui, taking on the role of Broker and Consultant to help establish and grow EQ1 Real Estate into the dynamic firm it is today.
